Ever since seven year old rapper and singer Fresh Kid real names Patrick Senyonjo emerged on the local music scene, he has attracted controversy and praise in the same measure. But in all this, his lucky star continues to shine brighter.
Fresh Kid has come under scrutiny for missing school to do musical shows and promote his music during school hours causing many people to believe that he doesn’t go to school. It also emerged that at his tender age, and because of his talent, Fresh Kid is the bread winner for the family. His poor parents cannot afford to send him to a proper school.
To save the situation, Rajiv Ruparelia, a director at Ruparelia Group, announced that Fresh Kid has been awarded a scholarship to study at Kampala Parents School via the Ruparelia Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the Group. Kampala Parents is owned by the Ruparelia Group.
“Today I met a young man called Fresh Kid - I was moved by his ambition being only 7 years old. I would love to see him become a guide and inspiration to many young people out there hence, Ruparelia Foundation is presenting this young man with a full scholarship from the Ruparelia Foundation to go to Kampala Parents School.” Rajiv said on his social media pages.
