Victoria University Kampala has announced it will launch its Alumni Association Launch at Speke Resort Munyonyo this Saturday 2nd December 2017. The University’s vice chancellor Dr. Khrisna N. Sharma said the association will promote a ‘feeling of togetherness’ between current and former students.
He explained that the interaction that will go on in the association will inspire students at the university as they will get to learn from the successful old students.
“We want to help each other, to facilitate each other – for example, if you have an opportunity, may be a job, and someone is looking for a job, the two will be able to each other,” Dr. Sharma said in an interview.
Therefore, to live true to their word, Victoria University has invited all Staff members, VU Alumni and Continuing Students for the Alumni Association Launch. The University will also use the occasion to inaugurate new guild leaders.
”We shall also have the Guild Handover Party and End of Year Party on the same day. The events will start at 12:00pm till 8:00pm at Speke Resort Munyonyo.” Dr. Sharma said invitingly.
Meanwhile Victoria University Kampala invites applications for the January - February 2018 intake for students looking to pursue a Bachelor's, Diploma or Certificate course at the Jinja road based University.
