Christmas season is upon us and it is time for festivities, to have fun and show love and care to the people who matter in our lives, those we love and cherish. It is a time to make merry.
To stay true to the tradition, Uganda’s leading luxurious and executive hotels, Speke Resort Munyonyo and Munyonyo Commonwealth Resort, all owned by the Ruparelia Group, have returned with their now annually Christmas Lunch Buffet.
To complete the package the two hotels have lined up impressive Christmas offers on accommodation and other leisure activities. These start as early as 15th December through to 7th January, 2018. Clients who booked before 30th November, 2017, got a 10 percent discount.
The Christmas Lunch Buffet, which will happen on Christmas Day, 25th December, 2017, will be a three course menu serving a variety of food and drinks. From our own Ugandan foods and drinks, to Indian, European to contemporary and specials, the buffest will provide a rich menu.
Customers who want class, fun and top most customer care on the big day should expect a menu that has foods like golden salad, compound salads, assorted cheese board, cold meat platter, cold seafood counter, condiments, dressings and dip, a variety of soups, breads, hot buffet, pickles, coverings and sauces.
The hotels will also offer live cooking dishes like BBQ grills, Tawa and South Indian counter, pasta counter, Chinese counter served with deserts. This will be served starting from midday to late in the evening. A good lakeside breathe will be such a good feel in the company of good people.
The two sister hotels are offering special festive season rates on accommodation starting from 15th to 23rd December and from 26th to 7th December.
On offer are single deluxe rooms for one guest, double deluxe room for two, one bedroom suites for two, executive rooms for two, executive suites for two, presidential cottages for four and presidential suites for four.
Also available on card from 24th to 25th December are executive Christmas offers. These include single deluxe rooms, double deluxe rooms, one bedroom suite, executive room, presidential cottages for four guests and presidential suite for four guests.
The hotels say an extra person is provided with a mattress on the floor at a charge. All rates include taxes and are on full board basis which means you get breakfast, lunch and dinner but not drinks.
You also get a 30 minute boat ride and 10 minutes pony rides for kids. Residents have access to the swimming pool, gym, steam and sauna rooms.
Munyonyo Commonwealth Resort was specifically constructed to host the 2007 Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM). The resort located on Lake Victoria is dedicated to providing unrivalled comfort and unmatched service.
