Speke Resort Munyonyo continues to cement its position as the best hotel in the country after yet again winning another award as the customer’s favorite hotel in Uganda at this year’s Jumia Travel Awards which took place at Mackinnon Suites Kampala.
Ajit Singh, the rooms division manager at Speke resort, described the victory in an interview shortly after being announced winners as ‘a great achievement for us as a hotel’, asserting that they are tirelessly working to keep in the leadership.
“We feel proud that our guests have trusted us and voted as the best hotel in the country. Our infrastructure makes us an appropriate destination for travelers – not only for business travelers but also family and individual travelers,” Singh said.
“We have plenty of options for guests to choose from. Different activities are available. As you know, we are spread on over 96 acres of land with 472 rooms.” He added.
Jumia Travel, the leading online travel agency in Africa, for the second year in a raw has awarded best performing hotels and related stakeholders like airlines at the continental Africa Travel Awards.
The Africa Travel Awards or Jumia Travel Awards aim at promoting Uganda's tourism sector, and responds to the need of encouraging hoteliers to improve the quality of their services for further advancement of their respective destinations.
